Earlier this year, DEA published the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on Rescheduling Marijuana that outlined the criteria and rationale for moving marijuana from Schedule I into Schedule III. The CMCR’s Executive Committee and the CMCR National Advisory Council, along with other national organizations, submitted comments on this proposal with the goal of having DEA clarify issues related to conducting research on marijuana and its constituents. Read the comments to the DEA here.
